Colla Voce present: The Last Five Years
Colla Voce Theatre's 'The Last Five Years' is a musical by Tony-Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown. It explores two perspectives on a marriage in a highly unusual way, as we watch the conventional progress from start to finish completely reversed. The story follows Cathy, an aspiring actress who dreams of reaching the Broadway stage, alongside Jamie, a novelist who becomes an overnight success. His rise to stardom is a stark reminder of the things that keep our feet on the ground, and what really matters in life. The vivacious and touching soundtrack draws out moments of tenderness and hilarity across its five-year lifespan.
