Thomas Linger Quartet
Thomas Linger is a fresh addition to this generation of young musicians. Primarily a pianist, Thomas is an avid performer, striving for new ideas as an improviser and composer. Originally from Waynesville, North Carolina, he began his journey at the piano at age 5. Thomas plays in the Piedmont-Triad Jazz Orchestra, leads his own jazz trio, plays in the progressive funk group Dirty Laundry, and is a highly popular sideman.
Joining Linger at the Sharp 9 will be bassist, Charlton Provatas and drummer Larry Q Draughn and saxophonist, Sheridan Hitchcock.
