Lecture with Liat Hod: The link between the heart and the uterus - through the eyes of Chinese Medicine

The 40 weeks of pregnancy are a very meaningful and dynamic time for women. A lot was written about the physical and hormonal changes that happens in every week of the pregnancy.
In this talk I will focus on the emotional aspect of this wonderful period. I will show that emotions are effecting our physical body and at the same time, emotions are effected by the many physical changes that happen to a woman during pregnancy.
I will provide a few tools that will contribute to the emotional and physical well-being of the mother and baby, such as balanced diet and also demonstrate a simple method that will help to reduce stress.
About me- Liat Hod, L.Ac, graduated with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist in California. Liat continued to a summer semester in an integrative hospital in China. She is treating a wide range of conditions related to women- anxiety and depression, digestive problems, insomnia, stress, prenatal symptoms and postpartum recovery.
Working in Dr. Ching Chis clinic in Sunnyvale.
