Atascadero High School proudly presents Grease, the classic rock-n-roll celebration of teen angst, rebellion, and love! Relive Rydell High class of 1959 as the Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies sing, dance, and joke their way through an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and fun. After spending a series of summer nights with Sandy Dumbrowski, the new girl in town, Danny Zuko's world is all choked up when Sandy appears at Rydell High on the first day of school. Featuring favorites songs such as Grease Lightning, Beauty School Dropout, and Hand Jive, Grease is a rock n' roll celebration of growin' up, cruisin' with friends and goin' steady that can't be missed! Get out your leather jackets, pull on your bobby socks, and come to the iconic courtyard at AHS for the Theater Department's outdoor production (Rain location: High School Gym)! Book, Music and Lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Director- Sabrina Pratt; Assistant Director- Claire Edmonds; Music Director- Mark Robertshaw; Choreographer- Zach Johnson.
Tickets are $20 for general admission, and $15 for AUSD staff and students. Popcorn included with ticket. Vendors and Boosters will have dinner and treats for sale.
