BOOSTmeUP dance festival

BOOSTmeUP Dance Festival is the young dancer division of the greater BOOST dance festival (est. 2009). Directors, Marlo Martin and Kristen Legg, have developed a unique opportunity for dance schools, studios, and conservatories across the Northwest to gather for a festival celebrating diversity and community. Martin hopes that BOOSTmeUP will aid in the development of a united artists community from a young age rather then waiting to bridge the gaps at a later age as is typically found in the dance community.

Through the festival young dancers will be exposed to an array of dance styles, teachings, and performances - all created in thier community by thier peers and thier directors. Dancers will participate in master classes, perform thier school's work in two matinee shows, and have the opporutnity to perform along with Redd Legg Dance (a modern dance company based in Seattle).
