Sweetheart in a Chicken Coop
The Moonshine Revival Tent returns! Their latest fusion of storytelling with songs is Sweetheart in a Chicken Coop, about a hapless young man whose careless and carefree fiancee becomes more than a little upset when he finds a different love in the form of a runaway girl whos been transformed into a chicken. Accompanying this story-and-song will be a couple of storiesabout a dowsing rod for love and a young woman whose clothing becomes a strange trap.
Long-time fabulist and storyteller Bret Fetzer, collaborating with singers/composers Sari Breznau and Eric Padget and singers Jillian Vashro and Christine Longe, unveils their newest story-and-song, set in a American fairy-tale world thats half Appalachia/half Dust Bowl.
