Northern MN native and local Jazz chanteuse Nichole Carey creates a luscious evening of story and song set to the standards of none other than the original northern MN girl herself, the one and only Judy Garland. As a long time Garland fan herself, this dynamic singer has made sure there is something here for everyone. Whether a novice to the stars repertoire or an aficionado, Judy fans young and old alike will find something to love. Expect to hear classics like The Boy Next Door, The Trolley Song and The Man That Got Away- along with lesser known gems such as I Love A Piano and You, Wonderful You, just to name a few. Featuring some of the finest tunes of the Great American Songbook made famous by one of the preeminent performers of the 20th century, this is an evening of cabaret you do not want to miss. With the fabulous Doug Rohde on piano.

Nichole Carey is a Twin Cities vocalist that has been seen performing at many local venues including Honey, Blanches at The Townhouse, Jazz Central, Vieux Carre and The Dakota Jazz Club. This is her sixth self-produced production at the Bryant Lake Bowl. She is a former member of Twin Cities Cabaret Artist Network and alumni of the prestigious International Cabaret Conference at Yale University.
