The Kernel Brewery Single Hop Pale Ale Tasting
The Kernel Brewery Single Hop Pale Ale Event. Friday March 18th 5pm-9:30pm
The brewery will be open to pour 6 beers showcasing different hop varieties from the 2015 harvest in the Northwestern United States: Amarillo, Cascade, Chinook, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe.
We have recently brewed 6 single-hop pale ales each to similar specifications. We have packaged them within 10 days of each other. Tasted side-by-side, the aim is that the only significant variation will be from the hops - revealing the character of each variety against the others, and how this particular harvest compares to previous ones.
For £12 (plus Booking Fee) you will receive six(6) 1/3 pt pours (one of each pale ale). We will also have a few other beers available for sale by the glass for those wanting a break from the hops (or a palette cleanser), as well as a small retail selection, including each of the single-hop pale ales, for off-sales.
There will be a small selection of bar snacks to buy.
We can only accommodate 120 people for the evening, so we can't allow entry without a ticket.
