Winner of the Best Alabama Film at the Sidewalk Film Festival, LIMO RIDE recounts the unbelievable true story of ten friends renting a limousine for New Year's Day to jump naked in the Gulf of Mexico. After 24 hours of indecency, intoxication, possession, trespassing, kidnapping and assault they find themselves stranded and left for dead in the middle of nowhere. By combining narration of the actual participants with feature-length re-creation, LIMO RIDE marries broad subject with experimental form to tell the best drinking story ever told.
ABOUT THE BREWERY TOUR AND THE PRE-SALE KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN:
We can think of no better crossover for what's been called a wheels-off bar-hopping joy ride. The story started over beers and the film has been an entirely Alabama production from the beginning. So what better way to introduce it to the world than to give it a home state tour via the creators of Alabama's best brews?
The tour coincides with pre-sales of the film via a crowd-funding Kickstarter campaign. All proceeds from the tour and the campaign will go towards giving the film a nationwide release in April via DVD, digital download, and more!
