Ibsen's powerful masterpiece, set in the late 1800s, remains profoundly relevant. The beautifully drawn characters are caught up in an unflinching story that deals with powerful themes such as promiscuity, sexually transmitted disease, incest and assisted death all issues that transcend the years. The characters (a wealthy widow, a son returning home after many years, the family pastor, a servant and her carpenter father) find their lives entwined in unexpected ways. When family secrets are revealed, their futures are forever changed in ways they could not have imagined.
Ghosts will be Langley Players' entry into the 2016 Fraser Valley Zone Festival.
Shows start at 8:00pm Thursday through Saturday.
Sunday matinees start at 2:00pm.
We suggest you arrive 1/2 hour before show time.
Admission is $15.00
