Parenting Seminar: Managing Meltdowns with Marla Rosen, MFTI of JCSF
As a parent or caregiver, do you ever experience a heightened level of stress, frustration or embarrassment when your child looses control? Whether on the changing table, in the high chair, or in the shopping cart, we will discuss the multitude of feelings that cause a meltdown, in the young child. We will explore ways in which distraction, limited choices, and empathetic limit setting can help the child gain self - control and help us to cope.
