Scenework Intensive
This is a four week workshop, running from July 17th-August 7th. Tuesday 7pm-10pm
This workshop will focus on 2 person scene work. And more specifically, discovering the dynamic that exists between characters in the scene quickly, and playing through that dynamic rather than serving the plot of the scene.
Instructor-Farrell Walsh
Farrell Walsh is the Artistic Director of CIC and a member of the house ensemble Rainbow Deli. He is also a performer and instructor at the iO Theater, where he has performed on Revolver since 2005. From 2009-2011, Farrell produced and was a cast member of a run of Close Quarters at iO that received critical acclaim. He studied at both iO and The Annoyance Theater.
Workshop will be limited to 16 actors. Prerequisite-1 year long form improvisation training, or instructor's approval. Cost is $90.
To enroll a 50% non refundable deposit of $45 is required paid through Brown Paper Tickets. Remaining balance is due first day of class paid via Check made out to Chemically Imbalanced Productions or Cash.
