3rd Annual CASAblanca Black & White Hangar Ball
A semiformal/1940s period dress event filled with music and dancing to raise awareness for CASA of the Fox Cities. Think black-and-white elegance reminiscent of the glamorous Oscar-winning movie starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, infused with the fun vibe of a World War II hangar dance with the following highlights:
- 1940s musical favorites by the areas own Water City Jazz Orchestra and Kurt Stein's School of Music Jazz Combo - Lawrence University's Swing Club will entertain us with an exciting performance, as well as teach swing dance basics so you can strut your stuff on the dance floor - Funny money blackjack, craps, roulette and poker games by Casino Events - Photo opps with a classic 1940s-style Excalibur vehicle, generously loaned for the evening by Tim Bergstrom - Scrumptious heavy hors doeuvres by The Marq, as well as cash bar - 30 silent auction baskets, 6 live auction packages and numerous raffle items for casino participants
