Come for the Laughs On the Road Tour
Join WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners to learn about and laugh at birds. First, at 3 Feathers Emu Ranch, well marvel at emus, whimsical-looking relatives of ostriches. Watching the chicks made us think of The Keystone Cops running amok in Jurassic Park.
A visit to Blacksheep Farm will give us a glimpse into the breeding, shearing, lambing care that goes into cheese making.
The Ewe and I cheese and yarn shop will provide information about the cheese making process and samples for tasting as well as the yarn available for sale there.
Last stop will be the Dirty Thumb Nursery. Owned by Connie and Spencer Davis they grow all their own stock and will have bedding plants and hanging baskets available for sale with a 10% discount for everything over $25.
Boots and umbrellas might be a good idea.
