She Loves Me

In this classic musical by a trio of Broadway's best-known creators (Sheldon Harnick, Jerry Bock, and Joe Masteroff), two workplace rivals spend their days bickering and their nights falling in love as secret pen pals, while their quirky coworkers deal with a spate of other problems. Said to have "one of the best scores in musical theater," the show has enjoyed a well-deserved resurgence in recent years.

Shows take place at the West Park Band Shell, Ann Arbor.

The Band Shell is on the West side of the park, near Seventh Street. There's a ramp suitable for wheelchair entry on that side as well, despite some construction going on there right now. You may want to bring a comfy camp chair to sit on, just in case, as we have a limited number of folding chairs on loan from the City.

Picnicking is encouraged!
Bring your own picnic to the park, or visit The Penny Seats website at www.pennyseats.org (or our catering partner's website at https://www.whatscookinga2.com/week_zen.htm) to order a delicious picnic meal that will await you at the park. Bring your own alcohol, and a blanket. The park will be open for picnicking 90 minutes before each performance.

Rain Policy:
The Penny Seats aim to be hearty. In case of light rain, the show will go on. Please check the weather report and dress accordingly. We'll have some extra umbrellas on hand. Should heavy rain, thunder, or other severe weather threaten, the stage manager will stop the show and honor tickets at any subsequent performance.

Parking:
There is much street parking around the outside of West Park. There is also a small lot on the Chapin St. side of the park. And, for a nearly sure spot, the covered parking lot on the corner of Ashley and Ann Streets is just a block or two away.
