It is a frigid evening in England, 1556, and Archbishop Thomas Cranmer faces a fiery execution come morning. However, when fate offers him an escape, Cranmer must choose between life and death as well as between the ghosts of Queen Anne Boleyn and Queen Katherine of Aragon, who both want Cranmer's soul.
