Olympia now has a real cheese monger, a store which will cut to order, give you tastes, and tell you about cheeses!! It is a charming small shop called the Mouse Trap, and Alex Gouirand, its proprietor, has agreed to host a cheese tasting for us on We will have the comfort of set places at tables to taste artisan Northwest cheeses and compare and contrast them with French cheeses, all matched with wines.
Mouse Trap is located at 408 Washington Street, SE in Olympia. Street parking in downtown Olympia is free starting at 5 pm in the evening.
