Master Class: The Transgender Singing Voice
Dr Anita Kozan of Minnesota and Danielle Steele of Indiana are two of the only speech and singing experts in the US with knowledge about vocal pedagogy for the transgender singing voice. In this class they will coach 6 transgender vocalists in front of an audience, sharing techniques and ideas for supporting and training the transgender singer. After the coaching we will break and then have a facilitated community discussion to inform future research and workshops.
