Rosemont Cooking School: Pasta, Basic and Extraordinary
Three linked classes, which will give you the skills you need to confidently and creatively make delicious pasta at home. Rosemont Chef Bryan Dame will lead you to a deeper appreciation for pasta's variety and versatility in the kitchen.
Each class ends with something delicious to eat, and you go home with something to experiment with at home! The classes work best as a three-session unit, but feel free to come to only one or two.
Week One, March 4: The basics of making, rolling and storing fresh pasta. You'll leave emboldened to make pasta at home, quickly and confidently.
Week Two, March 11: Stuffed pastas. The dough and techniques needed to produce exceptinal ravioli, tortellini and more.
Week Three, March 18: Weird and wonderful. Learn approaches to pasta you never thought of.
