Meet Your Maker: An evening with North Star Sheep Farm

In 2016, Rosemont Market Productions kicks off a newly vital and exciting roster of dinner events -- all regularly scheduled every month, in the inviting, intimate space of Rosemont's own kitchen.

Meet Your Maker is an opportunity to spend an evening up close and personal with some of the most creative food producers from Greater Portland and beyond. The third Saturday of every month, we invite friends who make delicious things to eat and drink, who treat their space and creatures well, and who are a lot of fun to hang out with. In our intimate kitchen space, Rosemont Chef Bryan Dame cooks a dinner incorporating and accompanying the producer's products, and we all dine together communally and sumptuously.

MYM March 2016 is a night with our good friend Lisa Webster from North Star Sheep Farm in Windham. Lisa and her family have been sheep farmers in Maine since 1984, with a foundation flock of Hampshire and Suffolk sheep, providing breeding stock, meat lambs, and fiber to the area. Their husbandry and environmental commitment are exemplary, based on organic pasture, and North Star is recognized as one of the top sheep farms in the United States.

We are honored to welcome Lisa Webster to Rosemont. Rosemont Chef Bryan Dame will prepare a fabulous four-course meal , each dish pairing North Star Sheep Farm's terrific products with outstanding artisanal wines.
