LAB: The Brainstems
The Luminary presents LAB featuring The Brainstems on Friday, March 4. Tickets $5 adv / dos. Doors at 8:00 pm, show at 9:00 pm.
The latest installment of LAB, an ongoing musician-led project series, features St. Louis-based quartet The Brainstems. The night will harness the energy and feel of the Star-Club, a seminal 60's rock club, and include performances by The Brainstems, Demonlover, and Soda Boys. Very fittingly, The Brainstems, which started as a cover band indebted to Ty Segall and The Coachwhips, will do two sets--one original, one all covers.
There will also be paintings, drawings, and pottery by friends of The Brainstems as well as DJ sets by Jason Rerun and Ryan Snowden.
