Final Round: 2016 Dionysia New Play Competition
Five plays from Team Athena and Five plays from Team Dionysus are chosen by popular audience vote and performed during this final round. The audience votes once again and the votes are calculated on June 4th. The winning play is produced in KCT's 2017 season.
Join KCT in a Modern Recreation of the Ancient Greek Dionysia Festival as five minute excerpts of full length plays by are performed by actors clothed only in togas! Audience members cast their oikos (Greek for votes) on which play excerpt they liked the best. At the end of the production run, all votes are tallied and the excerpt with the most votes is declared the winner. The winning play will be performed in full in KCT's 2017 Season!
