A Taiwanese Feast by Dominique Ansel

On Thursday, February 25th, Chef Dominique will take over Grand Army's kitchen and oyster bar to cook a communal feast of vibrant, authentic Taiwanese favorites, a cuisine that he secretly picked up and has been practicing over the years.
Chef Dominique's menu for the evening will include:
Vinegar Sauteed Peanuts with Black Beans, Chili and Dried Mini Fish
Chilled Smashed Cucumber Salad with Garlic, White Vinegar and Sesame Oil
Soy Sauce, Rock Sugar and Star Anise Braised Pork Belly
Three Cup Chicken (dark meat chicken braised in soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil, with tofu and basil)
Beef Noodle Soup (tender braised beef shin in 24-hour stock, topped with pickled cabbage)
A selection of cocktails created by Grand Army's head bartender Damon Boelte will also be available, along with wine and beer.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available for two seatings, 6:30pm and 8:30pm, for $40 per person (includes the full dinner menu, tea and dessert; does not include tax, tip or drinks; tax and tip will be processed at the conclusion of the evening). Please note that seats may be at a table or at the bar.
