Summer of Soul #1

One Woman's Way & Out to Lunch are the first 2 one-act plays in Soul Invictus' "Summer of Soul". "Summer of Soul" will feature two one-acts at Soul Invictus in June, July & August, featuring non-published works.

"One Woman's Way", written & starring Danette Porter will be performed on 6/8, 6/9, 6/15 & 6/16 at 8pm.

Everyone's life is a journey and we all make similar stops. These are some of the stops on one woman's way, shown in songs that inspired, carried through and reminded one woman to never let go of her dreams. And hopefully at the end, they'll help you do the same. *THIS SHOW WILL NOT PERFORM ON THE WEEKEND OF 6/22 & 6/23.

"Out to Lunch", written by Christian Miller, will perform on 6/8, 6/9, 6/15, 6/16, 6/22 & 6/23.

"Out to Lunch" is a 'cuisine comedy' in three short scenes that take place in a Chinese restaurant. A hilarious send up of conversations that we can't believe we've gotten ourselves into, while dining with friends. Starring Emilie Cipriano, Dineta Williams-Trigg and Jai Yunae. Written by local Equity actor, director & playwright, Christian Miller.

"An Evening of Love Songs???" - performed by Scott Gesser will run the weekend of 6/22 & 6/23.

Scott Gesser, the irreverent comedic song stylings of one the valleys most humorous performers.
