The Mask We Wear/What If A Woman
WHAT IF A WOMAN: They say that Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Well in the play "What if a Woman" that saying will prove to be a painful truth. Come and experience the mind of a woman that has reached her limit. She has given up everything for "him" and now she will take everything he has, maybe even his life, before she lets him leave her with nothing.
THE MASKS WE WEAR: The Almost Family consists of Wellington Almost, his beautiful wife Betty, his younger brother Stanley and Stanley's off and on girl Karen. Wellington is a well trained, educated actor. He has struggled for years until he finally lands the lead role in a huge Broadway show. The show gets all of Wellington's attention. He is obsessed with the show being perfect because it allows him to provide an amazing life for his lovely wife. The only problem is, she's starting to feel neglected. His younger brother Stanly is starting to notice that Betty hasn't been touched in a while and yearns to feel a mans hands and more. She needs to feel like a woman again. The very thing Wellington does to "keep" her is the very thing that's driving her further away. Last but not least, the show is beyond offensive. What is Wellington to do. The show provides but divides simultaneously. Only time will tell.
