AZA's 15th Anniversary
15 years ago, two Moroccan musicians, Fattah Abbou and Mohamed Aoualou, decided to bring the soul of North African music to the West coast. Here in Santa Cruz, they were both adopted by the community. They were joined by other musicians, each with their own unique musical background, and they created AZA. The band has performed locally, nationally, and internationally. With their unique sound and a style that defies categorization, they add to the diversity and richness of the music world. During this performance (or concert?), AZA's music will transport you to the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara without airfare. Don't miss it!
