You've learned the basics of scene development and Yes, And-ing your heart out. In this Advanced Improv course, Mosie McNally provides a wonderfully new and different angle on approaching improv which will further strengthen your foundation and offer you even more tools for your improv belt. You'll learn some new improv structures and practice others you may be familiar with already. You will explore developing the group mind, supporting teammates, and the mechanics of improv games that add flavor to those strong scenes and relationships you've built. The Next Leap with Mosie McNally is a great way to expand your improv skillset. It's gonna be a blast. This class is a great next leap for Zensters!
About your teacher:
Mosie Senn-McNally began improv with a Cambridge adult ed class nearly 20 years ago. She moved on to study, perform, and teach at ImprovBoston for several years. Now back in Northampton, she occasionally appears with The Ha-Ha's and performs year-round with the Majesters in West Springfield. Mosie is a high school art teacher and works on tapping young people's creativity daily. She has run several state and national art education conference workshops on using improv to improve teaching. She directs her school's improv troupe and regularly teaches high school improv workshops.
This class meets on the following SIX evenings, 6:30-8:30pm at The Hadley Pilates Studio at 104 Russell Street (Rt. 9 and West St.) It's across from Primos and kittycorner from Esselon in the DOWNSTAIRS space:
