Afterschool Art Club
Afterschool Art Club for 5th through 8th graders is a six session series of fun and engaging art activities. Classes take place on Mondays from 2-4pm in the 2nd floor BIMA Classroom. Come for one or all:
2/22/16 - Art of the Figure: Dynamic Gesture Dynamic figure drawing using graphite, charcoal, and ink.
2/29/16 - Figurative Wire Sculptures Create three dimensional figures using wire, beads and recycled glass.
3/7/16 - Drawing from Still Life Observe and draw colorful still lifes using pencils, pens and water soluble pastels.
3/14/16 - Relief Printmaking Learn how to cut your own lino block and print it with water soluble inks.
3/21/16 - Design with Pattern: Color & Form Have fun experimenting with colors, materials, and patterns.
3/28/16 - Mask Making Construct and decorate your own three dimensional mask.
Taught by Isobel Coney and Mary McCormic-McInnis. All materials provided.
