Food Field Trip - Let's go to Urban Till
Located in Chicago, Illinois, Urban Till is dedicated to being on the leading edge of the food supply evolution and changing the way people and businesses get their produce. They have transformed a factory on Chicago's West Side into a productive vertical green space capable of providing high quality greens to Chicago's best chefs and retailers- including Sugar Beet Food Co-op.
FOOD FIELD TRIP
Urban Till is opening their doors to us for a private tour and tasting.
Guests will tour the 30,000 square foot growing floor and learn about how controlled environment farming is growing the local food marketplace for urban areas, creating good jobs and bringing a green industry to abandoned buildings and communities.
Enjoy tastings inspired by Urban Till's greens, plus craft beer and wines.
Tickets are $25 per person and $20 for Co-op Owners (any co-op)
