Young Adults Forum with Dr. Micah Goodman: Are We in a New Era of Judaism?
Come, grab a beer and join a young adults forum with Dr. Micah Goodman in a conversation about: ARE WE IN A NEW ERA OF JUDAISM? How is the diversity of the Jewish world changing? What does it mean to be a Jew in Israel today? How does the Arab-Israeli conflict impact Jewish identity in Israel?And how does it impact Judaism outside of Israel?
The ICC@JCC, the Hartman Institute, ENGAJ and The Israeli Young Adults of Silicon Valley are excited to invite you to meet Dr. Goodman, a Leading Israeli-American philosopher and a unique social leader, bringing a modern day interpretation of the most substantive texts that are at the core of what defines our Judaism, and a bold refreshing insight on current Israeli realiy.
Goodman will talk about the impact of the Arab-Israeli conflict on Israelis' Jewish identity and will emphasis the changes of the social division between 'Dati' and 'Chiloni' from his perspective as the head of Ein-Prat.
