FROM THE GROUND AND UP - SUMMER GARDENING WORKSHOP Educational summer workshop for Master Gardeners, home gardeners and garden enthusiasts, Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Choose your path for the day from eight morning classroom sessions and four afternoon hands-on sessions.

Session 2: 10:15 - 11:30 am *Scott Vergara - Carnivorous Plants *Rita Hummel - Indoor Plants *John van den Meerendonk - Designing with Ferns *Lisa Taylor - Growing Veggies Family Style - Kids & Adults
Box Lunch Provided with registration 11:30 am - 1:30 pm *Keynote Speaker: Linda Chalker-Scott - Drought Tolerant Gardening & Landscaping Carpools to afternoon hands-on sessions 1:30 - 2:00 pm Session 3: 2:00 - 3:30 pm *Jim Kropf - A Walk About - Identifying Weeds *Carolyn Doherty - Fern Propagation (limit 15 participants) *Cyndi Stuart - Develop a Hummingbird, Butterfly & Bee Friendly Garden **Scott Vergara - Building a Bog Container Garden** **You will build a Bog Garden during class bring a container, planting media, and bog plants, or you can purchase these from Scott at class.
