Lend Me a Tenor
Lend Me a Tenor, set in September of 1934, is a comedic play with hilarious identity switching and absurd situations that only increase as the play's circus of confusion snowballs throughout the show. This classic face centers on the character of Tito Morelli, a world-famous opera singer and actor. When he is believed to be dead from an accidental double-dose of tranquilizers, an amateur tenor dresses up to portray Morelli's character. However, Morelli wakes up and also gets into his costume, leading to two of the same character running around the stage. Confused love interests and over-the-top antics add to this comedic setup, resulting in an unforgettable and uproarious show.
