Winter Village Bluegrass Festival Workshops
For many, an important part of the festival experience is playing music with old and new friends, and learning to play and sing better. You will find a variety of workshops listed below where festival performers will demonstrate and discuss their techniques, licks and practice approaches. It's a great opportunity to learn from and be inspired by some amazing and proficient players.
Most workshops will be held on Friday afternoon between 2 and 5 and on Saturday morning starting at 10am and running through the afternoon. All are being held at La Tourelle. One unique features of Winter Village is that all of the headline bands will do band workshops where they will play, demonstrate, answer questions about their material, arrangements, harmony singing, and all the elements that go into crafting a song for performance and recording.
