_____________ Growing Peaches - A 2 hour Indoor/outdoor workshop. This ~2 hour course, taught by Charlotte Trim begins with a classroom session followed by outdoor hands-on workshop Peach trees are both beautiful and generous. With a little care, they are delightfully delicious, early bearing and relatively easy to grow without the use of chemicals. During this workshop, we will look at soil and plant health, polyculture ideas, and practical care of trees organically. We will also review borers, pruning, varieties, tell-tale mineral deficiencies and, best of all, plant some peach trees.

Speaker Biography - Charlotte Trim, based in Lincoln MA, grew peaches organically for over a decade in her home garden, before starting a small peach orchard in town. Attention to soil health and plant nutrition has clearly helped with the health of the trees, yield, and taste of the peaches. Also an avid beekeeper and soil consultant, Charlotte is a dynamic and entertaining speaker. __________
