The Grain Gathering

The grain revolution happens here and everyone is welcome! Join professional and home bakers, maltsters, brewers, distillers, community leaders, economists, educators, millers, farmers, wheat breeders, chefs, journalists, wood-oven builders, entrepreneurs, and food culturalists to the beautiful Skagit Valley for three days of workshops, panel discussions, and talks. More than 40 presentations cover topics ranging from mastering whole grain croissants to brewing beer with non-commodity barleys to running a whole grain bakery to changing America's school lunch to building a regional grain economy, and much more. Workshops for professionals offer an opportunity to share experiences, skills, and new ideas, and workshops for the non-professionals take baking to the next level.
