Tuesdays in the Newsroom: Boston Globe Editor at Large Walter Robinson
Critically acclaimed, the new film Spotlight tells the story of the Boston Globe's investigative reporting unit as it uncovered details of widespread child sexual abuse by Catholic priests. Walter V. "Robby" Robinson, portrayed by Michael Keaton in the movie, led the Globe's Spotlight team, which went on to win a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage. As part of the Vineyard Gazette's monthly Tuesdays in the Newsroom series, the public is invited to join Mr. Robinson in the newsroom to talk about the scandal, investigative reporting and the surprising popularity of the movie. Seating is VERY LIMITED.
