If These Walls Could Talk
Join us for our first pop up exhibit of the year! We'll be discussing interesting information and artifacts Greenporters discovered while renovating their homes.
Our keynote speaker, Diane Foote, will tell tales of the traveling circus at the turn of the 20th Century a slice of history she researched after discovering the sheathing of her Broad Street home (the old Claudio house on the corner of First & Broad) was constructed out of reclaimed billboards advertising the 1890's circus that came to town!
Please come hear Diane's story and share your own renovation revelations! A pop up exhibit is an opportunity for members of the community to contribute stories and display historical items through show and tell conversation.
What have you learned about your home, the Village, or a bygone era while renovating? Come swap some history with your neighbors!
