Brew Your Own Kombucha!
Take charge of your gut health and save money by brewing kombucha at home! For just $5 a week, you can brew an entire gallon of your own delicious kombucha, filled with probiotics and amino acids that benefit your gut and immune system. Learn about the history and benefits of this ancient beverage, and sample some interesting flavors.
Students will learn how to brew a great-tasting basic batch using Rowan's Easy Ferment Technique, and learn the fundamentals of second fermentation for natural sparkling effervescence and flavoring. All students will receive handouts and a kombucha starter to begin brewing at home right away.
