A musical based on the the infamous 1924 murder of a young Chicago boy by wealthy students and friends Nathan Leopold, and Richard Loeb. The two men set out to accomplish "the perfect crime," but ended up imprisoned and separated for
life. Through flashbacks, the nature of their relationship and their crime are exposed.
