Portland Convening on Racial Equity for Government Attorneys
The Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE), in partnership with the City of Portland's Office of Equity and Human Rights and the Portland City Attorney's office invite you to attend "Advancing Racial Equity: The Role of Government Attorneys" featuring john a. powell, Director of the Haas Institute on a Fair and Inclusive Society.

Two-day event: January 28, 2015 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. January 29, 2015 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
john is an internationally recognized expert in the areas of civil rights and civil liberties and a wide range of issues including race, structural racism, ethnicity, housing, poverty, and democracy. He helped lead the launching of GARE in 2014.
This event is for legal representatives from jurisdictions that are a part of GARE, along with limited space for additional interested parties.
