The Frequency of Death! - a radio theater production
Dateline: October 1937 The play takes place in the studios of radio station WKIL during a live broadcast of "The Mystery Challenge." The program is hijacked by a mysterious voicethat of Dr. Big! A demented but brilliant scientist who's crossed paths with Harry, Nigel, and Lt. Foster before, Dr. Big is bent on revengeno matter the cost. He's rigged the building to explode if anyone tries to come in or leave. The only hope our heroes have is to stop Dr. Big before the program signs offpermanently!
RadioVizion is an alternative technique devised by Pegasus Theatre for the presentation of the Living Black & White series of Harry Hunsacker adventures. RadioVizion does not employ the trade-secret makeup but instead focuses on recreating the experience and glamour of being in a live radio studio of the 1930's and 1940's. Live sound effects, actors at period style live microphones, and costumes evocative of the era complete the effect.
Please note: this production will not be presented in Living Black & White but, rather, in dynamic RadioVizion to simulate the days of live radio theatre!
