Exit the Queen - RHINOFEST 2016
Drawing inspiration from All About Eve and Ionesco's The Lesson, Exit the Queen explores the relationships between actor and director, teacher and student, and character and play. It examines the art of auditioning, and the act of attending the theatre. While paying homage to Ionesco's sense of humor and eye for detail, The Ruckus looks at why we begin to create and (more importantly) why we continue to do so. Must the show go on, even if we are ready to stop?
