What emerges from the brush when everything's on fire? Will we beat it down? Yates performs text pieces that contemplate the spectacle of personal relationships, society, and globalization. She is joined by composer and performer Eric Reda, whose songs punctuate the piece and whose evocative soundscape threads across the narrative.
