The Moon is our nearest neighbor in the solar system. We see her nearly every day as she moves across the sky, but what is with all that shape shifting throughout the month?! Have you ever wondered what the Moon is really made of? Would you like to become an astronaut and explore the Moon up close?
Families of adults and kids spend an afternoon of activities, stories, experiments, crafts and an interactive planetarium exploration all about our Moon, Luna.
This is one of the classes in our Family STEM Program series recommended for ages 5 yrs and up, with an accompanying adult caregiver. It is an introduction to the members of our solar system. Cost is $15 per person for a 3 hour class. Check out more youth and family programs at the Pacific Planetarium at: http://pacificplanetarium.com/events
