David Wilcox
David Wilcox is a consistently unconventional acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter whose music is intelligent, humorous, insightful and melodic. With a pleasant, clear voice and crisp guitar style, he is often compared to James Taylor, but edgier and deeper.
His latest album (his seventeenth solo album) Reverie, features the hushed, intimate vocals, subtle but impressive guitar work in a solid folk/blues/pop style, and songs full of telling details that have won him a die-hard following down through the years.
The music of Nashville's Twangtown Paramours has been called "Sophisticated Americana," and is a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes.
