2016 OVATION Awards

THE 12TH ANNUAL OVATION! AWARDS IS SOLD OUT. THERE WILL NOT BE TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.

The OVATION Awards was created to acknowledge and celebrate outstanding musical theatre production in the lower mainland of Vancouver both professional and amateur.

Celebrating and featuring numbers from the musicals of 2015, the awards show will be held at the Vancouver Academy of Music on Sunday January 31st. There is plenty of meter parking at the venue in Kitsilano across from the Vancouver Museum.

There is a pre-show reception beginning at 6PM followed by the awards show featuring performances from many of the 2015 musicals at 7PM.

The overall goal is promotion of community spirit, and recognition of the many people that make up the musical theatre community in the lower mainland.

Some of the awards are chosen by the general public, where others are chosen by a jury made up of nominated members of the music theatre community of the Lower Mainland.
