NYE Pig Roast and Craft Beer @ Prubechu
Prubechu is San Francisco's first and only restaurant serving food and flavors from the island of Guam.
We'll be hosting another installment of our semi-regular Whole Pig Roast Dinner. It will be on December 31st, New Years Eve.At these events, we'll be roasting a whole pig and serving it alongside several other delicious courses - all you can eat. These dishes will reflect a different style of dinner than we usually do. It will be a family style feast in the tradition of Fi'esta's - large community gatherings on Guam where everyone is invited to join in on some food, drinks, and entertainment.
We have a ton of fun at these events as it is super intimate with only 35 seats sold. Its an all you can eat affair in a relaxed environment. Join us for dinner, drinks and some music before you go out and enjoy the New Year celebration or hang with us all night until the midnight hour!
As always, craft beer is a major feature of these events and this time is no different. We're excited to be working with Goose Island Beer Company(& friends) for this very special NYE dinner event. Included in the ticket price will be a few pours of some really interesting and perfectly paired craft beers. If you're not familiar with Goose Island, look them up. They have an incredible barrel aged program and are known for some really rare and interesting beer releases. If beer is not your style we'll be glad to substitute for selected wines, sodas, or tea.
Live music is another feature at these dinner events and we're glad to welcome back our good friend Bert Javier from the band Animo Cruz. He'll be blessing us with island reggae and traditional Chamorro tunes to help celebrate the New Year.
