Tarhun: Legend of the Lightning God
For three nights only, The Cabiri performance troupe brings to life the epic tale of Tarhun, Hittite lightning god. Featuring spectacular aerial acrobatics and dance, this performance is sure to delight audience members of all ages.
Through the spectacle of aerial acrobatics, the Cabiri present an ancient Hittite spring festival performance. A mythological exploration of the rites of kingship, the tale follows the storm lord Tarhun, the solar goddess Arinna, and the huntress Inara as they fight to save humanity from the black magic of the elder god Kumarbi and a host of primeval monsters.
Tickets are $25 General, $18 senior citizens and students (with valid ID), and $15 for children ages 5-12. VIP tickets are $45 each and include reserved premium seating and limited-edition Tarhun memorabilia. Online sales end at 1pm each day, but tickets will be available at the door. We prefer cash or check but also accept all major credit cards. NOTE: Tarhun contains strobe lighting effects. Our giant puppets may be frightening for children under 10.
