Eastside Cuddle Sanctuary: Women's Snuggle

Join us for some soulful female bonding time at our special monthly women's edition of Cuddle Sanctuary!

Cuddle Sanctuary is a place to unwind, take time for yourself and feel good; like a spa experience for your spirit.

Women of all orientations are welcomed. Our goal at Cuddle Sanctuary is to be as inclusive as possible. We welcome trans, cis & genderqueer women, as well non-binary folks who are female-identified. Individuals, couples, or groups - we'd love to have you!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Cuddle Sanctuary workshop is a guided social experience that includes a welcome circle, easy relaxation activities, communication & connection exercises and a description of cuddle etiquette. The event culminates in a voluntary "cuddle lab." Touch is always consensual, and all participation is optional.

Cuddle Sanctuary is a safe and nourishing environment, and simply being present and witnessing can bring comfort and relaxation as well.

Cuddle Sanctuary is a G-rated event. Activities you might choose to engage in range from giving and receiving massages, hair-playing, hand-holding, hugs and spooning, to thumb wars, eye-gazing, dancing, or simply sitting side-by-side and sharing a conversation.

Our women's cuddles are particularly conducive to bonding. These workshops are just as much about touch as they are about solidarity, community, support and connection. You're guaranteed to have a wonderful evening filled with companionship and relaxation.

SCHEDULE

7:45 Registration begins. Note: doors close at 8:15pm. Please be sure to account for traffic and leave yourself lots of time to arrive so you won't be on the wrong side of the door. (Sorry, no refunds for latecomers.)

8:15PM Opening circle, relaxation activities, communication & connection exercises, voluntary cuddle lab

WHAT TO WEAR?

Dress in clothes that are conducive to snuggling. Soft, cozy pajamas, cotton t-shirts, yoga wear, sweatpants, leggings are all welcome. Tank tops and shorts are a-okay for the warmer weather. Feel free to change clothes when you arrive. Hygiene is important at cuddles - be squeaky clean and minty fresh - it's easier to get close that way! (Note: come free of perfumes, colognes and cigarette smoke. Some of us have sensitive noses - thanks!)

WHAT TO BRING?
Optional: Bring a pillow or blanket - something cozy to snuggle with. We're transforming a yoga studio in a cuddle haven!

Optional: You are also welcome to bring a healthy snack or drink to share. (No alcohol please.)

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Fei is a cuddle bug who believes in the healing power of unconditional love and nurturing, affectionate touch. Her favorite thing about cuddling is how it peels down the layers, enabling humans to connect with their inner selves and each other in the most authentic way. Being in a touch-positive environment is a part of her spiritual and wellness practice. She is passionate about women's spaces and relishes in creating these safe havens to share with the community and the world. Fei also facilitates Cuddle Sanctuary Private Sessions.

The studio is located in Cypress Park which is East Los Angeles, near Highland Park. It is at the cross streets of Avenue 26 and Figueroa. There is a free parking lot available.
