Steampunk Tea Party with Gail Carriger
Join author Gail Carriger and SF in SF for Elevenses!
We are pleased to announce a mid-morning Steampunk Tea! Complete with Earl Grey, snacks, and prizes, this delightful soiree is being held to help raise money for the Locus Science Fiction Foundation*
Sally forth in your most delightful dress - PLEASE, do feel free to come in costume!! We'll be serving scrumptious snacks, tempting teas, delicious drinks, and giving away pretty prizes --- PLUS the fabulous Steampunk author Gail Carriger will be there to parry quips, quotes, and questions!
Where: Borderlands Books, 866 Valencia, between 19th & 20th, San Francisco, CA; street parking is metered, and there is also a parking garage on 22nd & Valencia
When: Sat., Dec. 5, 10AM - noon
Cost: $45 per person
Ticket details: seating is extremely limited, so you may only purchase one or two tickets at one time.
Menu: Tea will be served, along with scones, sandwiches, delicious snacks and nibbles
Programme: please mix and mingle with your fellow callers during the morning tea; author Gail Carriger will be present and we'll be raffling off some AMAZING items during teatime! Please feel free to bring books to be signed by Ms. Carriger at the end of the event.
Everyone goes home a winner - you'll be collecting an exclusive gift bag to take home!

*The Locus Science Fiction Foundation (LSFF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the promotion and preservation of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. It publishes Locus Magazine and its website, Locus Online. LSFF is also responsible for the annual Locus Awards, first presented in 1971, to recognize excellence in science fiction and fantasy literature.
